how the system is triggering the mov type 641 in STO delivery

Hi All,

STO scenario b/w two plants of same company code, in delivery we will find 641 movement type.

I want to know how the system is triggering the mov type 641 in STO delivery???

Hi ,

STO is a PO type intra is UB and Inter is NB

In MM configuration area we will link delivery type to PO for intra it is NL and inter it is NLCC delivery type

So item category determination happens in delivery through settings maintained via t code 0184

Inter will be NLC and intra will be NLN

For this item category we will maintain schedule line category determination via T code VOV5 based on item category + MRP type

Inter will be NC and intra will be NN

In side the configuration of this schedule line category in VOV6 we will be maintaining the movement type

Inter will be NC and 643 and intra will be NN and 641

So movement type 641 is picked from schedule line category NN for intra and 643 from schedule line category NC for inter

How this schedule line category comes is little different in case of STO

For a sale process item category determination is based on sales doc type and schedule line item category determination is based on item category--- straight forward

In STO the item category determination process is different that is it is initiated from delivery item category determination t code 0184

hi,

Movement type is controlled by Scheduling Category.

Just check the item category in the delivery.

Item category + MRP type give Schedule line category

In Schd category u will find mov type 641

Hi,

If you are referring to the standard STO, the Item category in NLN .

In the VOV5 you can find the Schedule line category assigned for the NLN as NN

In the schedule line category definition in VOV6 641 movement type is assigned and from there the movement type will flow to the delivery document
