Former Member

Hi everybody,

I send a message via RFC from R/3.

Value e.g. is: 123456787890ABCDEFG

In SXMV_MONI I see e.g. S9hkdsfaJhh7j== !

I set the CC to Unicode.

What can I do?

Thanks

regards

mario

Hi Abhishek,

the setting is Non-Unicode. But the checkbox "Communication Type with Target system" on register "MDMP & Unicode" in SM59 is disabled !?

When check the button

Is your R/3 system unicode or not?

When it is not unicode, set channel properties to non-unicode.

But SM59 has to be unicode as PI always is unicode.

Hi Stefan,

thank you for the reply.

a) Where can I see it it is unicode or not?

b) Where can I set unicode?

Many thanks

1. SM59 register "MDMP & Unicode".

2. system -> status -> unicode system

Hi Stefan,

as I wrote to Abhishek:

the setting is Non-Unicode. But the checkbox "Communication Type with Target system" on register "MDMP & Unicode" in SM59 is disabled !?

Could this be because of missing rights?

Hi ravi,

if I select change mode --> Checkbox ist still disabled.

Even if I create a new RFC-Conenction type tcp/ip it is disabled.

the trouble shooting guide states, that you need not (cannot) set unicode flag in SM59.

So just uncheck unicode flag in sender channel, that should be sufficient.

Can anyone tell me where is the sender channel?

Or where is this sender channel?
