Make "Notes to Approver" a mandatory field

Dear SRM gurus,

I am working on SRM 7.0 and the client requirement is to make the Notes to Approver a mandatory field for Shopping Cart, RFx, Auction, PO, and Contract. Will the bpp_doc_check_badi handle this?

Hello,

I don't remember if free text (as approval note) can be customized to be mandatory...

But for standard text, i am sure...

Yes. Implementing BBP_DOC_CHECK_BADI should help you.

hi,

try to use bbp_pd_(doc type)_getdetail fms.

then check et_longtext parameter with text id NOTM.
