Hi PI Gurus,
we have an issue relating RWD(runtime work bench)http://<host>:<j2eeport>/rep/index.html/rwd in this if we go to message monitoring i am getting an error saying " javax.ejb.CreateException: Unable to log on to system SP7 in language en with user PIRWBUSER" .Kindly help i have searched all possible sdn forums
Regards
Abhishek
Hi Abhi,
The issue could be that the user PIRWBUSER would have been locked,
Ask the security team to unlock the user. and try and make sure the user password is not reset,
only the user needs to be unlocked.

Amaresh

Hello Abhishek!
Can you clarify if the SP7 is the XI system in questions?
Also, what is your XI/PI version? 3.0, 7.0, 7.1?
Also check if your business systems are mantained with the
properly client number.
With regards,
Caio Cagnani

Hi Abhishek,
Please check the note below:
#1309239 - Configuration Wizard: PI NetWeaver initial setup
question 11.
If not solved, you may try the MANUAL steps from the SAP Help link below:
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70ehp1/helpdata/en/a0/40084136b5f423e10000000a155106/frameset.htm
Please notice that you shouldn't run the wizard automatically, but instead follow the procedures manually.
Hope it solves for you 😃

Hello there!
Since my other recommendations were not so helpful,
apply this note:
#936093 - XI 7.0: Changing the passwords of XI service users
Also check: #768457 - RFC Error in Runtime Workbench
Since it's a VERY generic issue, please try the following suggestions if the notes did not help:
There may be problem in exchange profle parameters...
Com.sap.aii.rwb.serviceuser.name
Com.sap.aii.rwb.serviceuser.pwd
Com.sap.aii.rwb.serviceuser.lang
check it and ensure that the role of the business sytem in (sxmb_adm) is integration server
Check if the RWB is referring to a client that did not have a PIRWBUSER in place. Remove BS for this client in SLD if it's the case.
Last, check this SAP Help Link:
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw2004s/helpdata/en/06/5d1741b393f26fe10000000a1550b0/frameset.htm
Please let me know if any of them solved the issue.
Kind regards,
Caio Cagnani
Hi Abhishek!
If you followed my suggestions above and did not work,
try the following:
There may be problem in exchange profle parameters:
com.sap.aii.rwb.serviceuser.name
com.sap.aii.rwb.serviceuser.pwd
com.sap.aii.rwb.serviceuser.lang
check it and ensure that the role of the business sytem in (sxmb_adm) is integration server.
Check if the user is not locked.
Check this thread if not yet verified:
Last, if nothing solved, Double check the users mainteinance per Configuration Guide
section 14 User Management and User Roles.
And check the exchange Profile also referenced in the same
Configuration Guide, but section 16, Exchange Profile Parameters.
Also you can try to delete the client you're using, for example 001, and recreat it.

Caio Cagnani

Hello again,
The user PIRWBUSER should be created in each of the local
local integration servers, e.g. on ECC etc, and we would advise that
the password is consistent.
Please ensure that the proxy Business System is up and running without
any problems.
Please check in trx SU01 that the PIRWBUSER is not locked.
Please also see note #768457 RFC Error in Runtime Workbench. Please
check that the parameter -Duser.language is set.
This is the main cause, generally, to this kind of problem.
If not solved, check your SLD associations and apply note #764176.
Regards,
Caio Cagnani
Hello again,
Also check if INTEGRATION_DIRECTORY_HMI rfc destination is working.
And check the password is the same in Exchange Profile, in XI and in your R3 proxys.
Furtheremore, check that this user is not locked in any system.

Caio Cagnani

Hi Abhishek,
Please kindly check note:
#1031773 - Activating the message overview in RWB message monitoring
This should solves the issue you have
If not, have you added the option -Duser.language=en into the Java
Settings of your virtual machine?
You will have to add this parameter via the Configuration Tool.
Drill down to Instance_[ID] -> server_[ID] and add
the parameter on the right side in the section "Java parameters".
The new parameter settings will only take place after the
restart of the J2EE Engine.

Caio Cagnani
