Hi..
basic doubt -- but causing issue.
I have assigned the combination of sales area + Doc. Pric Proc + Cust Pric -- > Pricing Procedure in customizing.
customer pric prc. -> assigned to BP sales area , billing data (Also seen on Prices tab of transaction)
Doc pric proc - > assigned to the transaction used.
Sales area of transaction -- > same as used to assign pric proc
Still error creating transaction - TA standard order, Message no. CRM_PRIDOC_COM401 - Pricing Procedure Could not be determined. Also the error says to assign a pricing procedure to the combination of sales area + doc pric proc + cust Pric proc which I have already done.
But on the prices tab of transaction I cant see the "Pricing Procedure" and a blank screen on Conditions Tab of transaction.
any clue.. pl help
HI,
As per your settings the pricing procedure must get determined in the transaction.
I would suggest you to check all the settings once again.Specifically sales area details in transaction and in customizing.
Also if you are entering any item in the transaction, check the item level sales area which is getting determined.

PP

Hi friends,
thanks for the replies.
All the settings seem to be fine. hrbci_attributes_buffer_updatex report is mainly to minimize the system resource consumption to determine org units at transactional level. As such its not a determining factor that should be causing an error.
I noticed that VMC is inactive on my system(we are actually setting up the CRM system from afresh). Can this be the reason.
regards
Hi Sadhu,
If PRICING procedure is not getting determined in any of the transaction, then it might be the case that you will have to restart JAVA in your CRM system with BASIS help. We were encountering this problem earlier in our implementation when we used to restart JAVA.

Hi Surendra / PePe,
Thanks for the replies.
The actual issue was with the pricing procedure determination. Here we need to use the business partner ID created for the sales organization instead of the ECC sales Org Code.(4 character code of Sales Org downloaded from ECC). We might still give a name for the sales org on CRM similar to ECC with a 4 character but that cannot be used for pricing procedure determination.
The second part after pricing getting determined on sales order, there is a dump because of RFC_VMC communication error. I am working on iit.. and we have couple SAP notes on them..
Anyways.. the main issue is resovled and I close the thread.

Sadhu
Hi,
Please check again if your SALES AREA at header level is picked correctly and which matches with the SALES AREA in the PRICNG procedure determination
ALSO if the above is maintained correctly, it might happen that you have created the transaction earlier then you have assigned the sales are to the Customer along with the BILLING tab information.
Run one report
HRBCI_ATTRIBUTES_BUFFER_UPDATE
If you have done the second one then just delete the customer, assign any other customer with which this issue would not appear and the error would go. Now again delete the customer and reassign your previous customer and check.
