Unable to create Sales Order

While creating sales order , I am getting following error message :

"Ship to Party XXX not defined for Sales area XXXX XX XX"

Ship to part is defined for DIV 00

and product master is created for DV 02.

Please help resolve asap.

Hi,

1. Is SP and SH are same? if not add SH number in XD02 for Sp in partner functions tab.

2. check whether SH is created for that sales area too if not extend it

You have not maintained the the customer for sales Area you are trying to created Sales Order

go to XDO1 and give the customer number( which u want to extend to sales area) company code and sales area and reference data also repeat the above steps. It may solve ur problem

There could be two possible solution for this problem.

1. Maintain your customer data for the Sales Area you are posting.

2. Define other sales area as a common sales area. ()

HI,

It seems your SO header division and your Material division is differing. Uncheck the Item Division in VOV8 setting for your sales document type. i hope it will solve your problem.

Dear,

Go on XD02 / XD03 ---> Enter customer No. -->Click on All Sales Areas. It will show you that how many type of sales maintain for Ship to party. If your sales area is not maintain then please maintain your sales area in XD01.

Please check it's Sales organization --> Distribution Channel ---> Division.

Hi there,

Check in VD03 to what sales area your ship-to party is created.

Check in what sales area you are creating the sales order. Customer master should be maintained for same sales area.
