Saving Forecast Master Profile to PB

Dear All,

I need to assign my Forecast Master Profile to a planning book.

So I went to the menu (Setting -> Forecast Profile) of the transaction /SAPAPO/SDP94 and assigned it.

But if I restart the transaction again I'm not able to see the my profile assignment.

So please let me know how to assign my forecast profile permanently to the planning book.

Hi Sivaprakash,

You are probably already aware of the following:

When you call up forecasting for a selection from interactive planning, the APO system first checks whether a forecast profile has already been assigned to exactly the current selection.

If it finds an assignment, it uses this profile.

Otherwise a dialog box appears in which you manually assign a forecast profile.

Do you see a dialog box appearing in ?

You must have created master forecast profile for the same Planning area.

The selection should be existing.

You should have authorization ( missing authorization can be checked with /nsu53).

Please also check if oss note 1157636 ( Interactive Planning - refresh Master Forecast Profile) is applicable .

There is also oss note 1380350 ( Maintain Settings for forecast profile - text modification) if it makes sense.
