RFC Connection test failed in sm59

Hi all,

i am configuring MOPZ on solman. for that when i took a copy of SAPOSS as SAP-OSS and after given all data like logon & security . and checked for connection test i got the following error

Connection Error

Error when opening an RFC connection

ERROR: partner '147.204.2.5:sapdp99' not reached

LOCATION: SAP-Server sap-server_SM7_00 on host sap-server (wp 0)

DETAIL: NiPConnect2

CALL: connect

COMPONENT: NI (network interface)

ERROR NUMBER: 111

ERROR TEXT: Connection refused

the same error when checked with SAPOSS

I don't understand what is this 147.204.2.5 ip address

Hi,

Is your router system is working . Check the router connection.

The Ip mentioned is the one you have given in T code OSS1 > technical parameters.

Check the SAP router settings, once the connection between your system and router made fine, SAPOSS connection will work .

thanks for the quick response.

I have few doubts.

1. Is it mandatory to configure saprouter to have MOPZ.

2. if no, then with what ip address will the sytem connect to SAP

3. how do we check the connection test.

can you pleae provide me with steps to configure mopz

As of my knowledge , Yes you need SAPROUTER since SAPOSS connection should be working , and this is the way to connect to service Market place with your solution manager system.

Connection test is through RFC , SM59 > SAPOSS .
