Internal numbering of the project definition

Hi,

is it possible to set the numbering of the project definition to internal?

So the user should get back the next free number automatically.

I cannot finde a setting or a user exit...

I dont think it is possible in std. SAP. you will have to use the search function manually...or else you have to go for some development.
