Hi Gopal,

Probably you have got the document numbering scheme wrong for this particular document type.

Is it internal or external numbering range system that you have defined for this doc type? Further, also cross check incase you have maintained the same internal/external number range in transaction DC10 for the document type in question.(It maybe so that you have defined internal numbering system in the backend and attempting to use external numbering system in the frontend!!! )

Hi Gopla,

Document number is defined in DC10 with document type. which one r u using internal or extermal?

Please select the proper numbering in both the places 1. Number Assignment 2. Internal / External number ranges.

you need to fill these both fields properly.

I hope this will resolve the query. for any doubts revert.

Regards,

Ravindra
