Rohini,

Can you please be elaborate on what the requirement is?

ASFAIK, it is possible to attach additional files using a Sender File Adapter. Is this what you want?

Hi Rohini,

I am not very sure. I think the IDOC can be sent as the payload, and the pdf as an attachment with it. Look at 'Additional Files' parameter :).

Rohini,

I dont think this is possible using the IDOC adapter.

Maybe you can look at a BPM or having multiple interface determinations and then sending the attachment using the File adapter parallely along with the IDOC and so on.

Hi Rohini,

If you want a pdf file to be attached to a File adapter, then try following the sender config steps given in this article..

Hope this helps you!

Thanks All. When our R/3 teams sents an IDOC to our Vendors, they want to attach a PDF along with the IDOC. Whether XI Can Handle the Situation?

Rohini,

So, Vendors need Idoc xml file along with pdf file right?

If so , you can think of Java Server Proxy, so that you can write logic in the proxy interface to generate the pdf + idoc file.

But if it is ok to send these 2 separately , i.e with 2 communicatation channels, then you can go with 2 file adapters.. i.e Multiple Reciever Interfaces for the one Reciever.
