Dear SDNites,

I am installating ECC6 with EHP4 on SuseLinux with DB2.

I got stuck at the 42 phase of "Start Instance" with the status message as mentioned below

An error occurred while processing option SAP ERP 6.0 EHP4 Ready - Support Release 1 > SAP Application Server ABAP > IBM DB2 for Linux, UNIX, and Windows > Central System > Central System. You can now:

Choose Retry to repeat the current step.

Choose View Log to get more information about the error.

Stop the option and continue with it later.

Log files are written to /tmp/sapinst_instdir/ERPEhP4/AS-ABAP/DB6/CENTRAL/.

"Starting <SID>/DVEBMGS00[ABAP:UNKOWN]. Elapsed time 10:30 minutes"

and the sapinst log says "

When I tried to restart the SYSTEM manually with startsap..it says the instance is already running

I have stopped the system with stopsap and cleaned the IPCS for any shared memory or semaphores which might be abstructing the instance from starting.

I am pasting the /home/se1adm/startsap_DVEBMGS00.log log for your kind reference. Pls help me bring up the system ASAP
