XRPM 4.0 installation question regarding Java Component

I am reviewing the installation master guide for XRPM 4.0 instalation. I have already installed netweaver 2004s ABAB and Java stack. I have imported the Abap XRPM 4.0 Core application. My question is regarding the CPRXRPM_UI (SAP xRPM Java Component) according to the master guide this should be installed on the portals. My auestion is we have Ababa/java stack on one server and we have a separate portal instllation. Question is can this package be isntalled on J2ee stack of netweaver 2004s installation or I have to install this on our portal installation.

Hi,

if the masteguide says you should install on a portal, why do you ewant to try anything else? Please install on a portal.
