MDC and BPL

We have finished the first shell creation.

Can we start to do BPL for certain tables right now, or we have to do a MDC before BPL?

After SHELL your receiver system is not consistent as far as application client is concerned. It only contains the repository objects and client 000 data.

So to make your application client consistent you will have to do the TDTIM or TDMDC.

for using BPL, your receiver client must at least contain a valid customizing that is compatible to the data you would like to transfer.
