"Check number range" message

Hello!

I have a question from the user I am struggling to give a clever answer to.

What does it mean when you get a message on billing saving: "Billing document XXXXX saved (check number range)"?

Thanks!

Cheers

Bea

I feel definitely this is not a standard message. It should have been a zee message due to some billing exit applied where system is checking the last number range assigned.

thanks

Hi!

I was right.

This is a standard message VF 224. It says that the number range is within critical range.

Hi Beata,

When the number range is near exaust level , System gives a message that the number range is nearing completion.

This % can be 5 % or 10% and can be set during customising.

Now you need to make provision for new range once this is exausted.

Regards

Vivek

Interesting.... i also would like to know the reason behind this..... just a guess.... number range of the invoice might be overlapping with some other document.......

It is not overlapping... it would cause error. It works fine, just the message.

I think maybe the number range is coming to be exhausted? I wait for more info from the user.
