Hi Experts,
I need to pass .excel, .bmp and .jpg form of file through file adapter. Are these formats supported by XI?
Please suggest. Else Do I need to create module for the same.

yes, pls check the thread:
[non-xml, non-csv, binary file has to be delivered as is, using PI|;

We can pass any file through XI, these scenarios are called Bypass scenarios. For these type of scenarios we dont do the design part we just do the configuration thing.
