Factory Calendar for Project

Hi All,

I have extended Factory Calendar till 2055 for Project. But when I maintained Project finished date after 31/12/2047, it's gives an below error -

Finish date must be earlier than "01/19/2048"

Message no. CJ012

Diagnosis

You have entered a date that is not within the scheduling horizon.

System Response

The function was not executed.

Procedure

Check the finish date.

Let me know where we defined this Schduling horizon in Project Systt

Hi

Check if same factory calender has been assigned to plant (hoping that problem is coming while adding the networks). If different factory calender is derived then this kind of problem occurs.

Hi Ahemad,

We have Chek on Note 814946. Its already Implemented in System.

I am getting same error in CJ20N or CJ2B in case maintaining finish date beyound 2048.

let me know if any other setting need to be maintained.

I do not understand why would you plan for 2055?

Hi Virendra,

My Client Project is running for more that 40-45 years. Hence, he need a Project Finish date beyond 2048.

This error is coming while entering date for Project Definition, WBS as well as for Network.

Hi,

We can extend a factory calender beyound 2048 which need modification in standard code.

See below replay from SAP

"it was decided by our developers in note 376353

that customers are not allowed to enter a value after 2048. This is a

standard design.

If you want to enter after 2048, you will have to modify the standard

coding. However if you wish to use scheduling, then this modification

will not help as there are checks in scheduling functionality.

If however, you will not be scheduling but just entering dates

on the WBS elements, you can remove the changes of note 376353

in include LCJTRFAK as a modification."
