Dears,
We are using PI 7.1 installed on AIX server.
Issue is our developers wants to make a connection to global IP in PI to send data to it.
For it they are using a URL in their development, Now whenever they try to connect to this global IP it shows
Connection Timed out.
By IE we are able to reach this URL, We also proxy settings in our interent options.
So as suggest by OS team we need to maintain same settings in PI also.
Please suggest how can we do it.
Regards,
Shivam Mittal
The HTTP Receiver adapter has the option to ehter the url and the proxy settings in it . Or if you are using a RFC destination then there is option in the RFC destination to enter the proxy settings .

Connection Timed Out would occur if there is any firewall restriction on the system/ location from where you are trying to connect.
So contact your network guys and ask them if the port is accessible/ opened for communication.

Abhishek.
