Hi,
I am web developer. I use CR 9.2 as a reporting tools for an ASP web applications which hosting on a Windows XP Pro.
As I need to upgrade my system, I wonder if the CR 9.2 still works in new Windows?
I am considering the following windows versions
Windows Server 2008 32 or 64 Bits
Windows Server 2008 R2
Windows Server 2003
Thanks,
Jim
Hi Jim,
Crystal Reports 9 is quite an old version and the last service pack (SP7) was released in 2006; for this reason CR 9 cannot support an operating system released in 2008.
To be precise:
Windows Server 2008 32 or 64 Bits is supported from CR 2008 V1
Windows Server 2008 R2 is not supported yet
Windows Server 2003 could possibly be supported with CR 9 SP7; however, I would suggest to double-check this. You could contact the sales department at http://www.crystalreportsstore.co.uk/crystal-reports/version-9/crystal-reports-9-full-product-licens...
I hope this helps,
Selenia

Assuming you are using the RDC. Search here for more info and possible solutions/work aorunds. Be aware it's not supported as stated, but may work.
Thank you
