Hello

I have two SAP systems on my Landscape:

A: SAP R/3 with WEB AS 6.20

B: SAP R/3 with WEB AS 6.40 with ITS

The ITS is already working to access SAP B transaction on Portal.

The question is: can I use the same ITS to access SAP A transactions?

I´m newbie on ITS so any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Hello Vitor,

The Integrated ITS can only be used to connect to the R/3 system that it is part of.

The Standalone ITS (ITS 6.20) can be used to connect to any supported R/3 system (6.40 and lower). BUT one instance of ITS should only be used to connect to one R/3 system.

So the answer to question:

The question is: can I use the same ITS to access SAP A transactions?

is no. If the ITS that you are referring is the standalone ITS then one instance should only connect to one R/3 system. If the ITS that you're referring to is the Integrated ITS then it can only connect to the R/3 system that is part of.
