Visual Composer BW Query Issue

Hi All,

I am getting the following error for some of the users in portal for VC related SAP BW queries.

The Error is given below,

"SAp Portal An error returned from the back-end system: Failed to connect to backend system. Check your system definition and user privileges."

i am the administrator of the portal so i am not getting the issue but the users from the client side are facing the error when they cick the vc application in portal they are getting abovce issue.

is it related to any authorization and roles of the users.

it was working fine from the project beginning...suddenly we got this error.

please let me know what could be the reason ?

Hi

Are you getting this error for perticular model or you are getting this in general for all models?

There can be multiple reasons for this, just check following things -

1. Whether you have necessary permissions in back end for that query.

2. Whether that model is transported properly. Means if Portal Production is connected to BI production then the data service you are using for the query should be BI production.

3. Check the authorization in Ep, you should have all authorization.

Either of it should solve your issue.
