call function module from xi

Hi,

I have develop a scenario with call a remote function module in R3. Now, I have modified this function and I have added a new parameter in import section. Subsequently, I have imported the new definition in XI and I have modified the mapping. At runtime, the outbound structure, from xi to r3, the value of the new field is correct, but, the same field in the function is initial. Why ? Where is the error ? What I have to do ?

I have restart J2ee, restart the server , but all things haven't resolved the problem.

hi Alberto,

have a look at quesiton 5 in sap note 730870

it explains what you need to restart

from this note:

restart from visual admin:

" the RfcAdapter J2EE Service 'SAP XI Adapter: RFC' is restarted or a dependend J2EE Service is restarted ('SAP XI AF CPA Cache', 'SAP XI AF Messaging')."
