Hello,

we are using SAP ERP 6.0, oracle 10.2.0.2.0 on IBM AIX 64-Bit.

I get the message "SAPOSCOL not running ? (shared

memory not available)" in tcode ST06 and no info is available.

If I start from OS level using command saposcol -l.It is starting.But whenever

we restart the server that time saposcol not startring automatically.

we have to start manually.Can I know what is the exactly problem.

could anyone help please,

Check the SAPHostExec and SAPHostControl services. If it is stop, start the services. it is working for me.

Hi,

Do as below this solved similar issue with me.

execute command u201Cipcs -mau201D and note the line that contains

saposcol key u201C4dbeu201D. You need the shared memory ID. After that, execute

command

ipcrm -m ID

Now the command u201Csaposcol -su201D should show that saposcol is not running and

that the shared memory is not attached. The shared memory key will be

created automatically by the saposcol when the collector is next started:

u201Csaposcol -lu201D.

Check that saposcol has permissions 4775 with owner root. then restart saposcol and it should be fine.

Please read the below note and check the permissions and how to remove shared key..
