Dear Gurus,
Suppose we have 3 clients ordered product A
Client 1: 300EA
Client 2: 500EA
Cleint 3: 200EA
Available stock: 500EA (500EA below the required quantity).
What we expect is to have order quantities somehow decreased by the system as following (2 options):
Client 1: 300EA - 30%*500EA
Client 2: 500EA - 50%*500EA
Cleint 3: 200EA - 20%*500EA
or
Client 1: 300EA - 33%*500EA
Client 2: 500EA - 33%*500EA
Cleint 3: 200EA - 33%*500EA
How to handle this situation....
Wishes,
Abhishek
Hi,
The stock will be reserved on the first come first basis. That is for client 1 300 EA will be confirmed and for client 2 only 200 EA will be confirmed. So when you have an availabilty check system will behave in this manner.
Now if you want to proportionate your available stock to all the three clients that follow the below mentioned steps.
1) Client 1 -300EA split the qty in two schedule line schd line 1 ) -->150 EA
Sch line 2) -
> 150 EA and put delivery block for this schedule line
2) Client 2-500EA split the qty in two schedule line schd line 1 ) -->250 EA
Sch line 2) -
>250 EA and put delivery block for this schedule line
3) Client 3-200EA split the qty in two schedule line schd line 1 ) -->100 EA
Sch line 2) -
>100 EA and put delivery block for this schedule line.
Carry out the Availability check and the system will confirm the qty as per your required allocation.
Also note you need to split the schedule line qty manually as per the proportionate qty vs available qty. As this ratio will change from case to case.
Hope this will resolve your issue.

Krishna O
