Hi,

Is your system is ABAP or ABAP+JAVA.

If its only ABAP system , this link holds very good information

Hi Vinod,

I agree with Gagan.

Client copy does not seems to a good option in your scenario since your DB size much bigger in size. For Client Export/Import you will need much downtime , may be days . I would reccomend to go for DB refresh/system copy procedures.

Hi Vinod,

For system copy you have to follow the System copy guide specific to your OS and DB .

For procedures , please refer ,

Hi,

I am planning to do with Client export import method please let me know that whether this is correct method or shall i go for other method because data base is very high, please suggest me.

For 300 GB Database it can take downtime of 6-9 hours(From my experience ) for PRD system , but it depends upon your system as well.

Check with your oraganization if downtime is affordable.

Other option is to go with homogenous system copy , make sure you read all realtive guides before going for system copy(http://service.sap.com.instguides)

Please explain ( steps to follow ) me the procedure of client export and import also.

Might be [this link |http://www.sap-img.com/bc049.htm] or [this link|http://www.sap-basis-abap.com/bc/client-copy-by-using-scc8-and-scc7.htm] will help you .
