HTTP Sender - Error in VendorSide - "u201Ccould not connect to remote serveru201D "

Hi All ,

we have Http Sender , when i post msg from HTTP client in my system, messages are flowing into PI . when the vendor tries to post messages to the specified URL , he gets Error Message as "u201Ccould not connect to remote serveru201D ".

I guess this is a firewall issue , any suggestions or checks to indentify cause of it and resolve it ...

i have asked for help from the network team ..

Hi,

its definetely the problem with the ports...some ports should be opened for allowing the vendors to post the data or HTTP post..

but need to use ensure that sufficient security mechanism are in place...otherwise there is a possibilities that malicious data can be sent...

its the job of network team better check with them only...
