IE8 with Netweaver 04

Hi guy's,

the SAP was release any patch to use Internet Explorer 8 with Netweaver 04 (6.40 SP19)? If yes, where I find it?

IE8 is not supported for NW 700 abap and java. As far I knew 701 SP06 supports IE8 still it has many runtime problems.

What I did to overcome this problem was Under Page Settings>Compatibility Settings> allow all web sites run under compatibility view, for time being.

PAM:

7.00 -> SP20

7.01 -> SP5

7.02 -> SP1/2

IE8 is supported by 7.0 as it is by 2004.
