Hi,

We have solman 7.0 EHP1 on Oracle on HP-UX.

During MOPZ config, in the SAPOSS RFC connection,

for the logon information i gave username S000****.

the mopz config was succcessful.

Now i was trying to activate the BC sets in solman_setup.

In the middle of the Basic configuration, wher i have to download the SAP note 1172948.

Now when i click start download, i get the following error

SAP Note 0001172948 cannot be downloaded

Error in remote connection to destination SAPOSS: No RFC authorization for user S000xxxxxxx.

Please help me with this problem.

Hi Nanda,

Check SM59 > ABAP Connections> SAPOSS

Check the connection. If this RFC connection works fine, you can download the note .

If any issues with the connection, check your router is running fine and check the entries in Tcode OSS1 > Technical parameters .

Regards,

Nibu Antony

Have you verified that the username for SAPOSS is set to OSS_RFC and the client is set to 001 as outlined in the note above?

Thanks,

typo above from my last response..meant to type SAPNOTE will use SAPOSS.

No, i just checked the S-User id i gave (S000*).

Ok, if i give the user -id as OSS_RFC, wont it affect my MOPZ configuration?

It will not.

Please see the note for the password as it is very specific to this RFC. Also change the client to 001.

Regards,

Jared

Hello,

Most likely the issue is caused by a problem with SAPOSS as this is used by MOPZ.

Please review SAP Note 182308 - Incorrect logon data in R/3 destination SAPOSS

Thanks for ur reply Mr.Jared Singh.

I checked the SAP note u mentioned and the logon data provided is not changed.

It works perfectly fine!

So wat might be the problem?

Hello,

In order to be able to establish an RFC connection, a user must have assigned the authorizations in authorization object S_RFC.

I guess that the user that you have mapped to the S user in AISUSER does not have the authorizations for object S_RFC.

I have SAP_ALL and SAP_NEW and also S_A.SYSTEM assigned.
