I have learned about the process to download all the global UDFs . I wish to know , is there any technique to download the loacl UDF's.

In PI 7.1 we have a facility to create Function Library. if you create UDF under Functional Library, u will be able to use all those UDFs under all the namesapces of that particular SWCV. you can export the function library package.
You can download a local UDF from the mapping, but not all local UDFs for all mappings at once.
In mapping, click on functions, there you find the export button besides package.
