Dear gurus,
Is there any way to close open deliveries just like closing sales orders by assigning reason for rejection to sales orders...my requirement is to close some deliveries " with no qty confirmation and no ATP impact on system and no impact on credit management" without deleting the delivery.
Regards,

Hello Kishore
May be you can apply Header block at Delivery Header level ( Administration tab) and prevent Picking/GI. For good measure you may zero out the picked quantity and may apply Shipment Blocking Reason in the Header/Shipment tab. Does this work for you?

Hello,
If you are using version ECC.x you can execute transaction VL_COMPLETE
the transaction will change the delivery status to complete regradless the current status
Check oss 992587 for further details

As you should be aware, the standard behaviour of SAP is that once you reverse any PGI via VL09 and delete that delivery document, it wont appear in MD04.
In your case, you neither reverse nor delete the delivery but only changing the status as suggested above which has not been addressed in standard.
In order to achieve this, two options are there. Either in delivery routine which has been assigned in OVLK, you can add this logic or write coding in delivery exit to remove from MD04 by considering the above correction report which should run in the background daily so that manual intervention can be avoided.
