Firefighter issue after upgrade to SP11

Hi,

We upgraded to SP11 (AC5.3) and how have a firefighter problem. When we logon to SAP and go to transaction /VIRSA/VFAT the firefighter ID is listed with its owner and the status is green. We click on logon, the pop-up appears and we able select a reason code and type in the necessary details. When we then select the green tick and the system does not take us to the next screen. It stays on the firefighter logon screen and all it brings up is a Superuser privilege management - 5.3 (Message no. /VIRSA/VFAT684).

Any idea what the problem could be?

Hello Muhammad,

Do you have FireFighter role assigned to both FFid and FFer? If not then kindly apply the same and check how it goes.

The similar problem was reported in the following thread as well and was resolved by assigning FireFighter role to both FFid and FFer.

Hi Guys,

Besides the problem of the FF SAP ECC 6.0 need a role to perform the logon / RFC, just found out it is necessary that the FF S_RFCACL possessed the object, we had a problem with us, while trying to log appeared to msg / VIRSA/VFAT684, and so the problem was solved when inserting this object.
