Hi Gurus,
We are planning to install ECC6 with EHP4 on Suse Linux and DB2. This is my first major installation in my SAP experience
I would like to request you all to trow some light on the pros&cons of the process, the prerequisites and to share your experiences.
Thanks
Venu
Hi,
If this is your first SAP installation experience, I would strongly recommend to go through the installation guide carefully.
It describe each and every steps in details...
Just download the guide from Service Market Place and follow that process...
You can download the same from below link

and

Hi Rajesh,
Thank you very much for your suggestion.
I have already downloaded the latest Installation guide from the market place and gone thru the same, several times. It didnt talk about the EHP4.That is why I wanted to know the process of installing ECC4 with EHP4.Will it be different to the standard ECC6 installation?
It will be a great help if you can give your findings/experiences with EHP4
Thanks
Venu
Hi,
Will it be different to the standard ECC6 installation?
AFAIK, it is same for ECC6 with EHP4... For this your installation dumps should be EHP4 ready.
That guide is application for ECC6.0 with EHP4.
The process will be different you want to install EHP4 on existing ECC6.0 (non-EHP)...
