Hi All,
I have a plant p1 with 3 storage locations as s1,s2,s3.
Now when I create a standard delivery, I will pick the
stock from s1 storage location. But when I
create a return delivery I will select the storage loc as s2 for
testing purpose . But when I ckech the stock using MMBE the return
stock is not reflected in s2 storage loc. But when I create a stock
transfer order from s2 to s1 the stock is updates in S1.
Can you please tell why the stock is not updated in s2 when I have done pgr.
Hi Jagadish,k.
In the return process , When you do the Post goods receipt ( PGR) system will post in the stock as quality block stock and if you have QM implemented or integrated with SD that system will generate a inspection lot for the same. The quality people will approve and post it to unrestricted stock ( prime or non prime).
Also check whether you are using mov type 651 or 653 for returns
If the stock is posted as quality blocked stock than you need to do transfer posting from QC block to unrestricted stock.
Hope this will help you to resolve your query.

Krishna O

Hi there,
What I feel is that when you process returns, stock must have been placed in quality inspection 1st & then moved to unrestricted in S2 storage loc.
Check the movement type of returns delivery & where it is placing the stock. If this is the case, then you will need to move the stock from quality t unrestricted.
