Hello together,

Short Question: We're getting the following error message when trying to post a SC in the ERP as a PO:

ME083 u2013 Enter 3rd Rem. Exed.

No idea what it means and what is required. Any ideas?

Our Set-Up:

-

SRM 7.0 SP05

Classic Szenario

Thanks in advance

Jens

Hello,

ME083 is related to missing G/L account or account assignment errors.

Probably this happened when SRM tried to create follow-on document in backend system.

Kind regards,

Ricardo

We developed something to fill the required reminder dates automatically with 999/998/997 days.

Dear Jens

This is a backend error.

Try first to create a simliar PO in backend directly, if you could reproduce the error, check relevant field has been

set as mandantory in customerzing, if yes, adjust it to optional and try with a new SC from SRM again.

Further analyse should be done in backend side.

Hi Jens,

this IS a backend error and the field for which the R/3 backend needs a value is EKPO-MAHN3, Longtext "Number of Days for Third Reminder/Expediter". Seems like this field (name of screen field is MEPO1313-MAHN3 and can be found on the "Delivery" Tab of the PO Item Details in ME2xn) is mandatory in your R/3 System.

Regards

Oliver
