Keyword Search in Catalog Not able to search in Long Description

I am implementing SRM MDM Catalog 3.0 on SRM, MDM 7.1

I am using standard Keyword feature given by SAP. SAP documentation says Keyword search will find a match in searchable fields. I wanted to know how we can find What are searchable Fields for Keyword feature. Can we configure the same.

How can I find what are all searchable fields in the standard sap repository .

Hi Sudha,

In MDM Console, we have an option to select field Long Description in Catalog Items table and change the Keyword from None to Stemmer. It will make your field searchable in Advanced Search. You can change the field property by unloading the repository and perform desired changes. Once you are done with changes, load repository with update indices. But making more fields Keyword searchable will increase the memory usage of MDM server.
