avoid system pop-up after logging on

Hi,

we are on Solution manager 5.0 (0004) and have the following issue.

When the users log in, they get a copyright pop-up with the information, that they just logged in.

We don't have that in test-system but in production and it would be nice if we can avoid that pop up.

I checked SM02 (system messages) but it is not coming from there.

Any ideas?

Thanks a lot,

Marvin

HI,

It should come first time, but from your message it seems its coming everytime when user logegs in .

Check uing SMOD if any exit is there specially EXIT_SAPLSUSF_001 will be used for these purpose.

I can understand that the copyright screen may seem annoying.

This popup usually appears:

- At the first logon;

- After every change of logon language. For example, you logon to the

system again using a logon language different that the one used on

last logon.

- If your license is running out within 2 weeks, it will always appear.

Unfortunately, there's no supportable way to disable it. Workarounds have been done before by modifying the system to supress the message.

However this is not recommended as the risks can include not being able to log back onto the system for all users.

So in summary, it is best to leave the message as is.

Jared

Hi,

the strange thing is that we do not have the issue in test-environment but only in production. So there must be a setting to avoid.

I asked basis to check the input about the licensing.

SMOD is the same in test and production, so it seems the reason is somewhere else.
