Dear Friends,
Till yesterday I could able to view PDF documents. But today I couldn't able to.
I checked the docuement type, it was checked for KPro.
I checked for PDF in DC30.
File suffix for appl. - PDF
File format - .pdf,.*
MIME type - application/pdf
Checked for - Start Authorization , Additional Files and Content version
Define workstation application in network
PC PDF 1 EAIWeb.webviewer2D.1 %SAP-CONTROL%
PC PDF 2 EAIWeb.webviewer2D.1 %SAP-CONTROL%
PC PDF 3 EAIWeb.webviewer2D.1 %SAP-CONTROL%
When I am viewing the original redlining function activated, content version- both are working for this PDF workstation.
For same doc. type I could able to view for other workstation applications.
What went wrong ?
Does any other customization affect this ?
Regards,
Sai Krishna
Hi Sai,
Customization appears fine.In all probability, your ECL viewer may be corrupted. Reinstall the viewer with the latest version and check. Do let know if the problem still persists post that.

1.Uninstall the previous ECL Viewer (with SAP Installation scripts CD, uncheck the corresponding option in General Add-on part)
2.Install the new files(ECL Viewer 6.0).in the zip-file, you have a setup-file to execute. The help on the customising field 'Path with prog. name' gives you all detail on what to enter.

Hi Sai,
if you face problems with the ECL Viewer in PDF display please made sure that at least patch 5 of the ECL Viewer 6.0
is installed on all your PCs. Please see the SAP note 1380587 and 1431454 for further information on how to install the latest ECL Viewer version correctly.
Best regards,
Christoph
