how to know mandatory fields in idoc

Hi all,

Can any one tell me the following:

1. How to know mandatory fields in idoc?

2. What is the IDOC for Inspection Lot Edit and

Cancellation?

Plz send me documents related to Idocs which

contains filed level description and Segment Description.

if you're talking in the XI context

you will know this when you will use the idoc

in the MEssage mapping

all mandatory will be in red

(but this is from the technical point of view)

BTW

very often it depends on the process you need to do

- you can use the same idoc for many processes

and with all of them mandatory fields can be different

But I want to get all fields in a Word document which will come when we select IDOC from Import Objects including segments and Fields. If anybody having that then plz send me. For idocs PR and PO.

Hi,

For the details of the fields of your IDOC, in your R3 system use the <b>Transaction we60</b> to see the description of your IDOC and all its fields.

Hi Mukharji,

Its pretty simple. The mandatory fields will have a red circle near it.
