Hello All,
I have few questions regarding SDM.
1. What is the need of having two modes SDM?
2. What are the benefits of having two modes of SDM?
3.What are the situations when one mode is preferable to the other?
Thanks in advance.

Arundeep,
with the "integrated" mode, the SDM server is controlled (started/stopped) by the Java Control Framework, that means everytime you start/stop the server, the SDM starts/stops, too
In "standalone"-mode the SDM server is controlled independently from the server. this is for example mandatory to deploy archives offline (the switch of the SDM modes is done by the SAPInst-processes automatically).
Normally, you would use the "integrated"-mode.
