IDOC to FILE Scenario

Hi Gurus,

I am working on IDOCXIFILE scenario in real project.

Usually in normal scenario IDOC to File we triggerd IDOC in ECC by using WE19, but how IDOC gets trigger in real projects?

Do i need to trigger IDOC manually every time in ECC by using WE19?

Hi sameer,

NO, in actual projects, IDOCs will get triggered whenever an application document is created in SAP R/3 system.

Say for example, you are creating a Sales Order in your SAP system.

Using NACE transaction, you will configure an output type, which would trigger an idoc processing program.

Then using the partner profiles set up for the partner, the idoc will be triggered either immediately or by a scheduled batch program.

it is usually over an event or a trigger. the IDocs thus get automatically created and send.
