REELS AND CABLES in procurement

Hi All

How REEL and CABLES are handled in SRM in the UOM prespective? since telecom industries are doing well and how these are UOMs handled in SRM .

Can any one share the challenges and experiences in telecom procurement perspective.

How master data setup in ECC ?to meet the business requirementsMathew/ all:- can you try this question please?

Hi Muthu,

Currently I am working for a telecom upgrade from SRM3.0 to SRM 7.0

The Base unit of measure

CABLES -- DRM (Cable Drum) Eg rate = USD 10/drum

REEL - There is no such description .Can be used the same UOM

I am not quite sure whether you are having the UOM (DRM -Cable Drum) in ECC6.0

Other views are as usual Basic data,purchasing,MRP,Accounting
