what is status w/o status no

what is status w/o status no. in status tab >>>object (below status)?? where and when to use it??

Hello Ram

It is literally what it says- It does not have a Status Number in the status profile. At one time an object ( sales Order) can have only one status with Status Number but several statuses without status number. It will not details like have lowest/highest status, initial status tick etc. It is a user status that is set manually or programmatically in the order and usually to block further processing.

Hi,

that is functionality of status profile,

for example :

you are creating sales order, let say the sales order has to be approved by the higher authority( Manager) before doing Delivery,

status profile is used to block from delivery the sales order till the manager approves the sales order

Assign Status Profile - Status Profile field in VOV8 - Maintain Sales Order types
