Hi All,

Scenario File --> PI --> 3rd Party

I used File Sender Adapter and Soap Receiver Adapter. Scenario works fine.

Scenario 3rd Party--> PI --> R/3

I used Soap Sender Adapter and RFC Receiver Adapter.

In Integration Directoryu2192Sender Agreementu2192Display WSDL I got Endpoint WSDL URL. Send this End point WSDL URL to the 3rd Party

Scenario works fine.

Please tell me then why I need WS adapter when my work is done by Sender and Receiver Soap Adapter

Thanks

You don't need to use WS adapter in any of the two scenarios you have mentioned. Search for "WS adapter" or "point to point communicaton" on SDN and you will get your answers.

Hi ,

I am not able to get the right understanding till now for ws adapter.

There are several blogs that says ws adapter lies on abap stack. It is used for Reliable messgaing.

But Is there any simple blog that shows how to use and configure it in a simple manner.

Thanks

1) WS Adapter is used for Direct Connection

2) WS Adapter is used for asynchronous messaging that guarantees a considerable level of reliability and security
