wbs statistical vs. non-statistical posting to Account Assign Cat P in PR

Hi,

I would like to know if there is a certain config or if validation (no user exit, just standard validation) to disable Cost Center field if the WBS element cost receiver sepcified in PR is a non-statistical WBS and the cost center field will only show up if the WBS Element is a statistical one. The is for the case in which the chosen Account Assignment Category is P in the PR.

But as an alternative, you can maintain the cost center in WBS Element. This field will be in editable mode once you check the statistical indicator box in WBS Element. So , the cost center will be actual cost reciever even though you have assigned WBS Element in PR.

the standard way would be to configure a seperate PR doc type with WBS element only allowed

you need to check with your MM consultant - this way only P will be allowed category and hence only WBS will come up in the account assignment tab - however this will not allow switching to Cost Centre if WBS is statistical

This WBS check has to be done via a code in my understanding, hence the development
