Stopping movement of quantity thru QA11

Ladies and Gents.

I need your help. I was wondering if it was possible to stop the system from allowing a user to go into QA11 and "without" posting a UD to change some stock quantity from QI to Unrestricted.

Basically not be able to move stock without accepting the lot first.

Hi Bruce,

Yes it is very much possible. All you need is to use a user-defined status profile for QA11.

Please go through the below link, all the steps are very nicely explained with screenshots. It will be a cakewalk to follow the instructions.

QEVA0010 UD: Usage decision check

Here you can check if system status does not contain UD but becomes the SPCO or SPST then system should give Pop up to take UD before stock posting.

Hi,

U need to explore the functionality of Status Profile .

There are different profile like QM_L_00 :- Inspection Lot Profile 1

QM_L_002 :- Insp.Lot, WEB Insp. Finished

QM_L_003 :- No Stock Posting Before UD.

We need to assign these profile to inspection type. This can be done at SPRO at inspection type or material level where we assign the inspection type. Choice is yours
