Licence problem

Hi all,

i have installed Sneak Preview 2004 there a few month, today the licence is expired and i want to extend it.

I've used http://www.sap.com/platform/netweaver/minisap.epx i obtain licence key etc... but when i install it, the system tell me licence invalid. All data are good...

Help plz

i assume that it is ABAP system.

let us know what you have entered in various fields, in SLICENCE

i was connected with user SAP*, and use SLICENCE transaction.

hope you left system number field blank.

if the probleme still persists, try with commnd prompt.

log on to windows with user id nspadm.

and run saplicense.exe -install from command prompt.

yes system number field is blank.

Can you give exactly the command prompt ? I tried but there is a parameter pf (profile) and i don't know how to fill it.

make sure you logged on to Windows with user id NSPADM

then from command prompt (start->programs->accessories->command prompt)

run this and follow the screen instructions.

c:\usr\sap\NSP\SYS\exe\nuc\NTI386> saplicense.exe -install

"EHP1 for SAP NetWeaver Composition Environment 7.1 - Preview Version J2EE Only"

Now i want to get a license for it. but problem is that i have to saplicense.exe.

Please help me that where and how i can get saplicense.exe.

Actually i want to get Hardware Key (for extends Trial time till 90 days T). and Installation Key (for registration on www.service.sap.com)

Please help me i have already spend more then one week on this problem.

Hi

I am on Windows XP-Home....installed miniSAP ...got my renewed license key for another 90 days. I could run "saplicense" with -help ...-get switches but trying to run "saplicense -install" under C:\MBS ....giving me error ....saying :

*******SAPLICENSE <open Release 46D> Error

ERROR : Can not set DbSl trace function. DETAILS: Trace function DbSL Control <DBSL_CMD_IMP_FUNS_SET> failed with return code 20.

Are their any other steps do I have to perform before doing this....please guide me since I am a newbee.
