How to open file downloaded from Function Library in SAP PI 7.1

Hi,

A collegue has downloaded a file from Function Library in SAP PI 7.1. It contains all UFSs written.

It can be opened in note pad format.

Has any one done this? Downloaded it and opend it ??

Pls let me know the process.

How he is downloaded this file??as a transport object??? i dont think it possible to download FM liabrary, i tried once but i am unable to that.

can you tell the format of FM file??if it is JAR format , extract the jar file and see the code for UDF.

but i still doubt downloading function liabrary not possible.

You can open a jar file with WinZip

Right beside "Package Name" you find a download button.

Specify a folder (I first tried to enter a file name, but this is not necessary.)

The java file will be put in a subfolder.

You can watch the java file with WordPad (NotePad ignores EOL) or a Java IDE like eclipse.
