Hello friends,
from my yesterday's post i have come to know that few of my XI settings are not working because of which i guess my R/3 -> XI -> R/3 scenario is failing.
Can you quickly look at below settings of mine ad tell me where am i going wrong
1) the pipeline URL that we give while configuring XI Business system. i have given following
http://ps3181:8000/sap/xi/engine?type=entry
Where ps3181 is host name of my XI ,
when i try executing this URL on explorer
it gives service cannot be reached , 403 forbidden
Is it related to configuring Cluster ->Server ->Services -> SLD Data Supplier
On runtime Tab , while configuring HTTP Settings, it asks for Host and Port
Host : my Xi Host
Port : 50000 ( I have given as 50000 , is it right or do I have to give 8000), I tried 8000 but with 8000 the Trigger Data Trasnfer to SLD fails , It works fine with 50000
Let me know what is correct.
2) While configuring
Cluster -> Server-> Services -> Destinations in J2ee Visual Administrator
We create a new Http node named pmistore , url is as below.
http://ps3181:8000/sap/bc/spi_gate , when i try executing this URL in explorer it give service cannot be reached, 403 forbidden.Does that mean something is wrong, What should I get there
3) when I try SXI_CACHE in my XI Box , on right side it gives eror saying ,
XI Runtime Cache Status
Unable to Refresh cache contents
Error during last attempt to refresh cache.
What does it show for you , does it get refresh ?
Please let me know what do i need to do in my XI to make all this work
Hello,
1) When I try this URL, I need to put a login and password so this service is working fine.
Could you check that your port is really 8000 ? To do it go in SMICM -> Services -> HTTP Port
2) I have the same configuration and the same error.
3) Try a delta Cache refresh to see the error.
Best regards,
Chris

Hi Rohit,
1) Use the port 50000, coz this is for J2EE
stack and 8000 is the port for ABAP Stack.
and for the 403 forbidden error, check
your RFC connection
INTEGRATION_DIRECTORY_HMI.
2) check wehther your J2EE engine is up or not?
other wise restart the J2EE engine from the
console.
3) this problem is for the J2EE server down.
