Dear All

I have an issue pending from long time, when i cancel sales invoice in vf02 the system is unable to update the accounting

document of reversed invoice,in the reversal document field in BKPF table

problem iam faceing is , when i check the document in FB03, t code it will not show the reversal tab, for reversed document

can anybody suggest how to resolve the issue

Your question is not clear. If I understood correctly, while cancelling the billing document, accounting document has not been generated for a billing document. If so, check in VOFA for your cancell billing document type whether you have assigned the accounting document type.

when i put the accounting document number in FB03, and proceed further

if the document is reversed it should show the reversal tab in document

but it is not showing reversal tab

Hello jahangir,

it means that system performed a so-called old cancellation procedure.

The note 1259505 explains the difference between old/new cancellation procedure.

The new cancellation procedure (when reversal menu is actived in reversed accounting document) cannot be performed for many reasons (see for example the note 1081187).
