document flow goods issue document not available.

Hello Experts,

In document flow, normally show the documents

like

1)sales order document

2) Sales delivery document

3) Goods issue dellivery document

4) Invoice

5) accounting document

in document flow should show this 5 types of documents.

now if we have new customer then 3rrd options not available , I mean to say in document flow goods issue delivery document doesnt show... can you tell me why?

is there any configration required?

pls advice..on this..

Hello Minesh,

Well, the sequence of doc flow will be determine/depends where or at which document you are executing the doc flow functionality.

Generally, if you are viewing doc flow at invoice level, then there is fair chance you may not be able to view delv doc details.

And for the same if you view it Sales Doc level, then you are able view the full flow of docs.

For instance,

Your doc flow sequence is as and the same will be processed at SALES ORDER LEVEL:

> Contract Order - Sales Order - Proforma Invoice - Delv Doc - Mat Doc - Final Invoice - Acc Doc

So, when you are doc flow at Proforma Invoice you will be able to view doc flow for

> Contract Order - Sales Order - Proforma Invoice

Whereas, when for the same sales order, if you execute the Doc Flow at Final Invoice then the result will be

> Contract Order - Sales Order - Final Invoice - Acc Doc

OR

> Contract Order - Sales Order - Delv Doc - Mat Doc - Final Invoice - Acc Doc

Hi Minesh,

Please first check whether the Material document itself has been created.

For some special process, invoice could be created before goods issue.

If there exist material document, then please check table VBFA whether the entry for material document is missing.
